What was the relationship presented here between Jesus, His Father and His followers? Do the farming metaphors help readers today understand these heavenly truths? Jesus says those that abide in Him will “bear much fruit.” Those individuals that make false claims will be rejected and cast out. Similarly the love and joy of the Father and the Son will be shared with God’s people.
