Psalm: 31

Meditation: 1 Cor
How often have people inserted their own understanding of what God wants or accepts within His church? Is the discussion of the spiritual gifts within the Corinthian church 2000 years ago even pertinent today? Regardless of any denomination’s stand on the availability of gifts today, here Paul continues to focus instead on the purpose of any gifts. Without focusing on or denying any gift he himself  might have, he points out the greater value in using gifts to benefit others.

Gospel: Mark :30-41

New Testament:
1 Cor 14:1-19

Old Testament:
Ex 4:10-20
