Have you ever compared God’s covenant given through Moses on Mt Sinai to the new covenant instituted by God through Christ and the Holy Spirit in the New Testament? The written words of the law condemned those that did not obey completely but the new covenant was not written on tablets but on/in the hearts of believers- by the Holy Spirit. The law left a veil on the hearts of hearers but the Spirit gives boldness and hope to believers.
