How can Paul show the Corinthian church they are taking God for granted? Here Paul uses examples from the history of Israel in the desert to show how disobedient and ungrateful the Israelites were to the God that had saved them and provided for them greatly. The Corinthians were being warned to keep watch, lest they fail and fall away. Paul reassures them that God does not allow anyone to be tempted without an avenue of escape.
