Psalm: 83

This passage is the preparation for Jacob to be reunited with Joseph in Egypt. Pharaoh has sent many carts to carry their belongings and descendants. Jacob sacrifices and prays and God answers him, reassuring Jacob that his descendants would return to the promised land and create a great nation. Joseph would comfort Jacob and close Jacob’s eyes when he dies.
