Psalm: 56

Meditation: 1 Cor
Why do Christians that are taught to be like Christ, the meekest man in history, need to inflate themselves and importance? What is it in human nature that hasn’t allowed us to change in 2000 years? Here Paul is trying to convince the gifted and wealthy church of Corinth to recall what they were taught and what God wants from us. Paul’s use of irony and comparison on wisdom/foolishness and parenting shows how disappointed Paul was with them.

Gospel: Mark 3:7-19

New Testament:
1 Cor 4:8-21

Old Testament:
Gen 41:46-57
