Have you ever noticed the arguments and infighting between the different groups in opposition to Jesus? Some of the groups did not believe in an eternal life or even resurrection/return from the dead. Here Jesus not only claims to be aligned with the will of the father but that God, His Father, has placed Jesus in judgment over all. Passages like this are proof that Jesus claimed to be one with the Father no matter what some modern religions say the passages actually mean.
