Why does Paul start out comparing man’s wisdom to God’s foolishness and man’s strength to God’s weakness? Paul lists what each group seeks and why God’s answer isn’t sufficient to mankind. Paul then points out what Jesus did and became for us. The irony of each statement points out how far apart natural man and God really are. Why does Paul begin by listing the different types of scholars and teachers?
