Why is it that every great miracle that Jesus did made the Jewish leaders despise him more? Jesus shows his knowledge and power in every part of this story. Jesus shows himself to be the master of life and death itself. Also take note of the interactions and concerns amongst the disciples and the fatalism that Thomas shows here.
