Psalm: 69:1-23

How would it feel to be a leader and not have your own family believe in you? Some wanted Jesus to go about His ministry in a more assertive way. We do know that at least 2 brothers would believe later. Here Jesus was on God’s schedule while others  pushed their own agendas. Verse 13 uses the term Jews, it does not refer to descendants of Abraham but to the religious or societal leadership of the time.
