What are the 4 testimonies mentioned in this passage? In this discourse there is an implied query by Jesus to His opposition. Why don’t you understand who I am? What keeps you from believing? This same question is appropriate today and as a counter to why do Christians believe what we do today? The biggest difference is those asking today haven’t been raised to look for all the attributes and works of the messiah.
