Psalm: 37:1-18

Meditation: John
This passage is the start of the story best known as, “The Woman at the Well.” Samaritans, although distantly related to the Jews, were considered even more unclean than gentiles and often called dogs. Many Jews would actually cross the Jordan River twice journeying between Galilee and Jerusalem rather than passing through this unclean land. Jesus not only speaks to this woman but preaches to her whole village.

Gospel:
John 4:1-15

New Testament:
Heb 6:13-20

Old Testament:
Gen 11:1-9
