Have you ever noticed the highs and lows of righteousness, faith and courage of the heroes of the Bible? Abraham traveled across the Middle East and with 318 men defeated the armies of multiple kings. He is then so fearful of Egypt’s king that he tells his wife to say she is his sister. God protects both he and his wife and they leave Egypt with greater wealth just as his descendants will many years later.
