Why do you follow Jesus? During Jesus’s ministry, people came from many regions and backgrounds to watch or benefit from His signs and wonders. The crush of these multitudes was so great that Jesus had to keep a boat nearby lest He and the crowd got hurt.  Jesus decided which 12 men were going to be His disciples. One thing to note in the Gospels is that the disciples are known by different names or sometimes nicknames.
