How badly can the human leadership mess up? Even God’s own people need God to step in time and time again. These messianic prophecies call for a time of reunification of God’s people and the installation of righteousness and judgment over the earth. The promise of a land under the direct authority of the Messiah actually creates many more questions and has not been realized yet.
