How do you rejoice in your sufferings? Can you suffer for those you haven’t met? Here Paul reminds the readers of his sacrifices for the church and the cosmic scope of Christ’s Lordship and His redemptive work. While absent from each other, we are knit together in love with the assurance of understanding and knowledge of God the Father and Christ. Paul warns believers not to be deceived by persuasive words instead walk  in Christ, established in faith.
