How often did the people of Jesus’s time miss the real message that he was giving? This passage includes several miracles that pointed to Jesus as the prophesied messiah. Instead the people focused on what they wanted from him- food, wealth, freedom and maybe glory. Jesus chastised them again, telling them His  coming had a different purpose and agenda- His father’s.
