How do you recognize a servant of the Lord? Is that servant’s value on their apparent success or by their dedication to their master? This passage points us in all those directions. Only the benefits of history allow us a glimpse of the meaning or even the who of this passage. While God’s followers, prophets and even Jesus had limited, if any, success in their lifetimes, their impact has had global and eternal impact.
