Like Peter, Paul uses the term elect or chosen of God, Holy and beloved to address Collossian believers. Paul admonishes these believers to relate to each other with love and forgiveness. They are also called to live in thankfulness and peace allowing the word of Christ to dwell in them. How many Christians today live their lives with this kind of dedication and love?
