Will God ever forget those that He calls His own? Here Isaiah says that God will not rest until Jerusalem is returned to her glory and beauty. The city will be an example or light to the rest of the world and witness the confirmation of God’s promises. The new names mentioned denote a renewed relationship and privilege for this city.
