Are there any of Jesus’s teachings or parables that aren’t problematic? While it is hard to fathom someone turning down an invitation from a king, we see here groups that not only reject the king’s invitation but abuse and kill the messengers. One of the problematic parts is the guest that showed up not properly attired, and was rejected. Maybe he wanted to come on his own terms(?).
