It is unusual to look at multiple churches at the same time. Here we see a faithful church contrasted with one that has been compromised by the influence of men and the world. The message is: if your beliefs and actions are right, by God’s standards, hold fast no matter what tests come. If you’ve fallen away: return to what is true or you will be cut off from God.
