Meditation: 2 Peter
What would you say to  your followers if you knew your time with them would be cut short? Would you emphasize what you taught them and why they should  listen to you? Peter focuses on his role as an eyewitness to the events and to the glory of Christ revealed. Like the other apostles he encourages Christians that the teachings come from God and not an invention of men.
