Meditation: 1 Peter
Like a good parent, Peter is concerned with the nature of new Christians and the purity of the message and teachings they receive. Growth comes through a focus on Christ and continually coming closer to Him. The image of Christ as our cornerstone or foundation is central to our relationship to Him, our high priest and savior. Those that reject this foundation have “nothing” to stand on.
