Psalm: 146

Meditation: Amos
This passage begins a series of prophecies against six nations that are Israel’s neighbors. It starts by reminding everyone that God has seen the evils they have done. They will be punished for those deeds. The punishments use poetic verse indicative of annihilation and divine retribution. God’s charges and judgments against Israel and Judah will follow as well.
