The walls are done, the gates are finished and guards and gatekeepers are assigned. Now it is time to rebuild the people and renew the covenant between God and His people.  This time of the Jewish year was the Feast of Trumpets- preparing to repent of their sins and hear the Book of the Law. We are taught to regularly repent of our sins and ask forgiveness. Why do you think there was this change?
