How important is your family’s history or your genealogy? Ezra’s genealogy is shown here to trace back to Aaron, the first high priest, over a thousand years before. This important information justified his role as priest and scribe of the Law of Moses. He and the others that would be involved in temple activities, left Babylon and Persia with permission and mandates from the Persian King.
