Do you think this is one of the most amazing stories of God’s providence in the Bible? Imagine asking your boss or king for a paid leave and to pay to finish rebuilding your city and a new home. He also asks for letters and soldiers to protect him.  The King says yes, Nehemiah goes and begins to plan how the rebuilding will commence. The people of Jerusalem also respond and begin the work.
