Meditation: Matt
Jesus points out the unbelief of the towns that had witnessed His ministry and miracles. His pronouncements of woes or curses on those same towns shows God’s displeasure with people that were supposed to be dedicated to God and his kingdom. Using examples of utter destruction of cities from history, Jesus explains the future of those towns.
