Where does our hope come from? What do Christians hope for? Then as now, different groups have added to or subtracted from the Gospel message and God’s truth. They are trying to combine the Gospel with their knowledge and understanding. Paul’s rejection of these arguments contrast the future of hope through Christ with the gloom of an existential life.
