Meditation: 2 Kings
Contrast the lives of Judean Kings that did evil in the eyes of the Lord with those few Kings that God approved of. What or why do you think some of the Judean Kings decided to pay tribute to other kings or defy other nations or kings? Why did God keep sending foreigners to punish Jerusalem and its people? What was the message of the prophets  and why were they ignored?
