Meditation: 2 Kings
Do all stories in the Bible show a test of faith? The people of Judah had watched the collapse of Israel and the people’s exile. The Assyrians focused their attention on Judah and the king gave up the wealth of the temple and his palace rather than face the wrath of Assyria’s army. Hezekiah and the Judeans only start reaching out to  God when the situation becomes dire. What do these stories tell us?
