Psalm: 61

Meditation: 1 Kings
Wouldn’t it be amazing if every time a leader did something evil God sent a prophet or calamity immediately? Ahab and his evil Queen had lived and ruled with impunity and led others astray. Is it in character or out of character when he repents after being challenged directly by the man of God? God’s judgment and penalty would still be imposed but would be postponed for a time.
