Can a Christian have a pedigree? Paul spends more time and effort reiterating what should be important to Christians and compares that to what made you acceptable to religion in the past. Paul continues to warn against teachers that preached additional requirements besides belief in Christ to be right with God. He implores them to keep the faith until the end, which is the ultimate goal.
