Have you ever wondered and/or been in awe of the little details of God’s nudges or fingerprints in history? Paul was a Benjamite by ancestry and Jew by religion but also a Roman citizen because of his place of birth and Roman imperial decree. This latter fact is used by the Roman soldiers/officials to protect him from the Jewish leaders and their zealots in this passage.
