What does “Light of the World” mean? In what other passages are supernatural lights or fires also mentioned? Where else is the term “I am” used? For all their knowledge, could the Pharisees keep missing the truths of Jesus because of their literal view of scripture and their perceived facts? Jesus’ own witness of His role in the 3 ½ years of signs and wonders attested to the validity of His claims.
