Meditation: Acts
This passage shows the important roles that are needed to operate a church, and the problems that arise when a few are trying to do too much. Later, in the books of Timothy and Titus we learn more about Elders and Deacons, but the whole book of Acts is really a history of what the early church leaders did. We learn also how God used them outside of these roles as well.
