Psalm: 118

Meditation:2 Samuel
The costs of David’s actions in his personal life, parenting, and leadership are shown in this story. David’s concern for others causes him to leave Jerusalem, the Ark, and some family behind. God’s providence is still at work as David sends back one of his advisors to sabotage the Prince’s plan. Because of this sabotage, Absalom loses his chance for a quick victory and an advisor kills himself.
