Meditation: Judges
What is there in human nature that creates discord? Why do God’s people follow the same cycles over and over? While this is not the most famous story from the life and judgeship of Japheth, it does illustrate the trials that all leaders in Israel and Judah would experience.  Tribal jealousies and turmoil would later cause greater splits. While many of the cycles during the time of Judges would last 40-80 years, this cycle would only last a few years.
