Meditation: Acts
The persecution of the Early church had driven many Christians out of the Holy Land, as far north as the Roman Territories in modern day Turkey. At first they shared the Good News of the Lord with Jews only, but eventually the Good News spread to the Helenists (gentiles). A large number of gentiles were added to the church where Paul was called to and spent a year there.
