Meditation: 1 Samuel
How great was the faith of David? We see the difference that having a “heart for God” makes in both his interactions with Saul and later with the Philistines and Golliath. While any other person would be shaking in their proverbial boots at the prospect of meeting their king, let alone facing off against a giant of man and an entire army, David knows without a doubt that God will win the battles that he faces.
