Ananias was a man of great faith. How would you react if God told you to go and help or heal your greatest enemy; someone who has wrought untold pain and death on your family? He is told that Saul (changed to Paul by God) would carry Jesus’ message to the gentiles and would “suffer greatly” for Jesus’ name. As we read through the rest of the NT we see how true that message was.
