How can we contrast the life of a righteous servant, minister, or judge to the life and actions of corrupt and evil leaders who not only cheat, lie, and steal for themselves but also drive others away from the righteousness of God? In 1 Samuel we see the house of Eli, through their actions or inactions, offend God. Whereas Samuel and his parents are blessed by God.
