Jesus often used the rich as examples, not of blessings but of how earthly riches could form a stumbling block. When asked who could enter His kingdom, Jesus relied “with man this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible.” How many times do we fail in our “good works’ because we rely on ourselves and not on God who gave us our abilities?
