Ezekiel: The original Tabernacle was described to Moses by God. Moses was told to build the Tabernacle to exact specifications. Ezekiel is given a similar charge. God transports Ezekiel, purportedly to heaven (though the Bible does not say so) to see the new Temple (Tabernacle). His job is to describe it to the people of Israel. This won’t be the last time we are told of the heavenly Temple. The last and most complete image of the Temple appears in Revelation, and we won’t see that until we go to glory.
