Hebrews: This is a great rendering of just how much Jesus is identified with us. So, He became “a little lower than the angels” as depicted in Psalm 8:5. Either at His Incarnation, His birth, His death, or His resurrection, Jesus, by His obedience, shifted thew whole hierarchy of heaven, elevating man to a more exalted place than the angels (who had never fallen). These truths become crystal clear in Daniel 7:9-11, 13-14. The glimpse presented there is realized in the Ascension.
