Meditation

Luke: I am no fisherman, but I’ve heard many say that night is the best time to fish. Poor Simon (Peter) had worked all night for naught. Jesus comes along and suggests that Simon go out now, in the daytime. Peter may have thought, Jesus, a carpenter, what would he know? Still, he sets out for perhaps the greatest catch of his career. Very sacred – enough to leave it all and to follow Jesus. Are you?
