Psalm: 59

Meditation

1 Peter: Peter is addressing two groups: the elders & the young men. Peter reminds the elders of the grave responsibility of their office – “and from one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.” (Luke 12:48b) On the other hand, the young men are exhorted to be humble toward each other, and to be self-controlled (i.e., self-disciplined).
