Psalms: 46, 47
Meditation
Daniel: New king, Darius of the Medes and Persians. He was tricked by his advisors, out of their jealousy of Daniel, to issue a binding decree which could not be changed (even by the king) that made it treasonable for anyone to pray to any god except to the king for the span of a month. Daniel could not comply thus he was sentenced to the lion’s den which had a huge stone rolled over it and sealed with the king’s signet. Much like Jesus’ tomb.
