Meditation

John: “But he said to them, ‘I have food to eat that you know nothing about.’” Looking forward (in John chapter 6), Jesus goes into greater detail about this food but for now, his answer is: “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.” (v. 34) Finishing God’s work was, of course, Jesus’ journey to Calvary. Jesus’ food: “Thy will be done.”
